The Bursting Bubble House

There was once a little girl
who lived in a bubble house.
The bubble house was magic
So she had all that she needed

If she wanted to eat
there was food
If she wanted to read
there were books
If she wanted
there was

But there was a book
Somewhere in there
She'd chanced upon
But refused to care

What it told
Was umpleasant indeed
The bubble house
would not long be standing

And so one day
The bubble seemed just
about to burst
and go

She still had time
To run away
Before she disappeared
with it

But how she felt
so so afraid
As she knew not what was
outside

So if you were
that little girl
Would you rather
Disappear?

I've grasped at dreams
I've let them go
I've been too much afraid
But that is how
Our dreams fly by
How dreams remain just dreams
