I see from afar
Your lovely wings and glow
They shine and yet
You know not what
Beauty you possess
I await your your joy and smile

Sometimes we give our very best
And yet the results are not what we want
And then we wonder
Why are they so
And why we'd even bother

But yet most often we forget
That responsibilities
Are not tied to what the end might be

But we have strayed far far away
And now we all expect
That for every effort put in duties
We ought to receive as such
